EV CHARGING
There are 3 types of home chargers available to use, which vary based on their power and the amount of electricity they consume.
LEVEL 1
Standard 3 pin electricity outlet, suitable for trickle charging (up to 2.8 kW)
LEVEL 2
Single to three phase EV charger which requires professional installation. Power ranges from 7 to 22 kW.
DUAL LEVEL CHARGE CORD
Switch between level 1 (up to 2.8 kW) and level 2 (up to 7 kW) charging. Requires professional installation of a single phase (3 pin) industrial plug.
When using the Dual Level Charge Cord with a L evel 1 socket, avoid plugging into any power extensions as they may cause a fire hazard and risk to your home and vehicle. Plug directly into a level 1 electrical socket for more safer use (provided the socket is not worn out or damaged).
